Our Homeless Outreach Team provides street outreach throughout Alameda’s homeless encampments and neighborhoods...
- Distributes food/hygiene supplies
- Builds relationships with the unsheltered neighbors
- Provides transportation to appointments
- Performs case management
- Responds to calls from community members
- Connects the unsheltered with social service providers offering assistance with setting goals
- Encouraging the unsheltered to feel comfortable towards the idea of accepting services and envisioning an awareness of self-sufficiency and permanent housing.
